A-Level and Other Exams
Carleton accepts select Cambridge Advanced Level (A-Level) Examinations with grades of B or higher. Courses taken at the Advanced Subsidiary (AS) Level are not accepted. For more information on credits or placement awarded for accepted A-Level exams, please visit the Transfer Credits and Credit by Examination section of the Academic Catalog.
If you have completed international college-level examinations that are comparable to AP or IB exams, you may be eligible for course placement. Please reach out to the Registrar’s Office to determine eligibility.
