Course Load
- Carleton’s academic year is comprised of three 10-week-long terms.
- The standard course unit is six credits, and students normally carry three courses, or 18 credits, per term. However, you may take as few as 12 and as many as 22.
- With special permission of the Academic Standing Committee, you may carry up to 24, although such heavy course loads are discouraged.
