There are many ways to find information about using Google Drive. Some of the methods most readily available to Carleton are Google Forums, Google Support, and Lynda.
Carleton Training Sessions
Carleton will be offering training sessions for Google Drive. Please sign up for sessions that fit your schedule.
Google’s Training
Google provides online help at the Google Drive Help Center. You may choose a topic from the initial outline or you can enter the topic you would like information about in the Search Google Drive Help search box.
Lynda Training
Carleton subscribes to Lynda, which provides short videos on a wide variety of topics, and includes a written transcript of the videos as well. You can choose to watch the videos and follow along, or find a topic that interests you, read the transcript and *click* on a line that you’d like to see and the video will automatically jump to that section, allowing you to see demonstrations of key topics without spending time reviewing things you already know!
Lynda provides a Google Drive Essential Training video that is a great starting point for learning to use Drive.
