Professor of History Victoria Morse coordinated a one-day workshop focused on the possibilities offered to humanities research with digital mapping tools, as well as the challenges these tools and processes present. Attended by faculty and staff from both Carleton and St. Olaf Colleges, participants at the workshop considered frameworks of questions for approaching this type of work, how to reach and engage with diverse publics, and the ethics of mapping.
