Carleton’s four-year Public Works Initiative supported by funding from the Mellon Foundation began in July 2017. The initiative continues to support public-centered work in the arts and humanities based on collaborative, community partnerships.
Over the course of the initiative, the grant has supported faculty development projects, workshops, and events, involving community partners from as close as a few blocks from Carleton to as far as an ocean away.
