Strand gives talk, presents posters

Julia Strand, Assistant Professor of Psychology, attended the Auditory Perception, Action, and Cognition Meeting and the Annual Meeting of the Psychonomic Society in Montreal. She gave a talk called “The Jingle and Jangle of Listening Effort” and presented posters called “What Accounts for Individual Differences in the McGurk Effect?” with Lucia Ray ’20 and Naseem Dillman-Hasso ’20 and “About Face: Seeing the Talker Improves Spoken Word Recognition but Increases Listening Effort” with Violet Brown ’17.
