The Psychology Department is happy to announce that Emma McGorray will be joining the faculty next fall. Emma is currently finishing her PhD at Northwestern University. She graduated from Kenyon College with majors in Psychology and English. Her research focuses on LGBTQ+ people’s well-being, including the strengths and challenges that they encounter in their relationships and improving the diversity and inclusivity of psychological research. Next year at Carleton, she will teach Principles of Psychology and two new courses: Relationship Science (a 200 level course) and LGBTQ Psychology (a seminar). We will host a welcome social event in the fall for you to meet Emma!
