Julie Neiworth, Laurence McKinley Gould Professor of Natural Science and Psychology, sponsored and advised students Christopher Kwon ’19, Colin Liphart ’20, Gifty Amos Nwankwo ’19, Max Pope ’20, and Chris Leppink-Shands ’19 to present a poster entitled “Contrasting the loss of neural cells with the accumulation of beta amyloid plaques in cotton top tamarins: Aging or Degenerative Disease?” at the MidBrains Annual Undergraduate Neuroscience Conference on October 13 at the University of St. Thomas in St Paul. The group received the honor of “most outstanding poster” as judged by attending evaluating faculty from a host of colleges at the conference.
