  • UT Austin Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE) Program

    The Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE) is a summer internship program that takes place on The University of Texas at Austin campus for undergraduate students interested in research in psychology and who are currently attending a college or university in the state of Texas. The program provides hands-on research experiences, training in experimental design, and an introduction to a network of scholars in the field of Psychology.

    Pay: $2,500 stipend + room and board + out of Austin transport up to $100

  • Internship on Science Writing (Science Communication) at Princeton University

    The Princeton University Office of the Dean for Research intern is responsible for writing about Princeton University research for a non-technical audience. The intern writes news articles, feature articles, web content and other items in the style used by major newspapers and magazines. Responsibilities include reading scientific papers, interviewing faculty members, writing, rewriting, compiling information for reports, and acquiring illustrations.

  • Summer Internship at Yale School of Management

    Research assistants will collaborate with faculty and graduate students on day-to-day research being conducted, which includes: programming surveys on Qualtrics, data collection in the lab, field, and online environments, analyzing and summarizing data, revising/editing manuscripts, assisting with literature reviews, IRB proposals, and presentations, and attending research meetings, seminars, and statistical methods workshops (in R). At the end of the 8-week internship, all interns will present their research progress at a mini-conference hosted by the School of Management.

  • The Cooperation Lab at Boston College

    Summer RAs will gain experience with all stages of the research process, including recruiting families, collecting data, analyzing data, and discussing results. Each summer RA will be paired with a graduate student, post-doctoral fellow, or lab coordinator mentor for the duration of the summer, and have a main project.

    In addition, RAs will attend weekly lab meetings with other undergraduates, graduate students, post-doctoral fellows, the principal investigator, and lab coordinators to discuss ongoing and key research in the field of psychology. Intermittent professional development and other seminars will also occur, such as data analysis workshops (e.g., R) and panels on applying to graduate school.

  • Summer Program for Undergraduate Researchers (SPUR) 2020 at Carnegie Mellon University

    PIER’s SPUR program allows talented undergraduates to spend 8 weeks during the summer in a research laboratory at CMU.  Each student will receive a fellowship stipend of $3,000 and apartment-style housing will be provided. Guidance and supervision of the research project will be provided by a faculty member as well as, in some cases, a postdoctoral fellow and/or advanced graduate student. Due: Feb 24, 2020
