Title: "Development of an Animal Model of Puberty Suppression to Study Transgender Health"
Dr. Guarraci has developed a rodent model to examine the long-term effects of suppressing puberty using gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GbRH) agonists from just before puberty until early adulthood on reproductive phsiology, behavior, and fertility in both female and male adolescencts. She will be sharing some of her work during her talk.
