The Puzak Endowed Fund for Experiential Learning and Community Engagement was established by a generous gift from Virginia G. Puzak, and supports students and faculty in projects to engage in learning outside of the classroom.
The fund will support activities such as student civic engagement internships and service projects, both over the summer and during the academic year; classroom collaborations with schools, businesses and non-profit organizations in nearby communities; and professional development for faculty to either create new courses to include an off-campus, experiential learning component or modify existing courses to incorporate a significant civic engagement project.
Requests should be submitted to the Office of the Provost.
