The Center for Community and Civic Engagement would like to announce a round of applications for grants to support public scholarship. These small grants are intended to help support the completion and dissemination of a public scholarship project.
Recognizing that public scholarship dissemination may take many forms, some suggestions for how the funds may be used include travel to meet with a community partner, registration or travel to a conference, hiring a student worker(s), and/or costs related to technology (e.g., software or app development). The grants awarded are designed to supplement your FDA and other funding sources and will typically be in the $300–$500 range.
Applications will be reviewed as they are received. If you have any questions please contact Palmar Álvarez-Blanco, Broom Faculty Fellow for Public Scholarship.
