LTC Targeted Audience Lunch
Many of us realize that students have different degrees of preparation -- in terms of disciplinary content, cross-cutting skills, and knowing how to navigate the classroom -- and work hard to design our courses in ways that allow students to be successful despite different starting points. However, we rarely talk explicitly about the trade-offs, choices, and challenges as a community. This will be an opportunity to hear from each other about what people are doing at both the individual course and the departmental level, as well as considering what might be more appropriate to tackle at an institutional level.
