Samantha Anders (2000) graduated with a psychology major. Samantha obtained a PhD in counseling from University of MN. She was an intern at Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center in Albuquerque, NM, and a postdoc at Brain Sciences Center at the Minneapolis Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center. Samantha has a private clinical practice in Minneapolis, MN called Anders Psychological Services.
Akili Estrella (2000) graduated with a religion major. Akili obtained a JD from Seattle University of Law and a master’s degree from Kent College of Law in Chicago. She is a practicing lawyer and legal consultant in Chicago Illinois.
Jessica (Heacock) Poulin (1999) graduated with a biology major. Jessica obtained a PhD in biological sciences and is an assistant clinical professor in biological sciences at the University of Buffalo, NY.
Erik Istre (2000) graduated with a psychology major. Erik is a practicing neurologist at Hudson Headwaters Health Network. His MD was from Albany Medical College, NY. Erik completed a combined psychiatry/neurology residency as a postdoc at UMass Memorial Medical Center.
Leah Janus (1999) graduated with a psychology major/women’s and gender studies concentration. Leah obtained a JD from The University of Minnesota. Is an attorney with Fredrikson & Byron, a commercial litigation group. She has been recognized as a Rising Star by Minnesota Super Lawyers.
Karen Mild (2000) graduated with a psychology major. Karen is the finance manager for St. Louis Closet Company.
Rick Parsons (2000) graduated with a psychology major. Rick obtained a JD from Capital University. Rick is an attorney at Kravitz, Brown & Dortch, focusing on civil and criminal litigation. Ohio Super Lawyers® honored Rick as a “Rising Star” for 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015.
Heather (Patel) Walsh (2000) graduated with a psychology major. Heather obtained a PhD in neurobiology from U of Chicago and is the project manager at UChicagoTech, commercializing inventions.
Jebediah Sawyer (1999) graduated with a psychology major. Jebediah obtained MA in psychology from The University of St. Thomas. He is now a therapist at Relationship Therapy Center of Minnesota. He is co-founder of the RTC and uses the Gottman method to help couples, individual relationship issues.
Sara Steenrod (1999) graduated with a psychology major. Sara obtained a PhD in neuroscience at the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University, and is now a postdoctoral associate at Rockefeller University.
Simine Vazire (1999) graduated with a psychology major/women’s and gender studies concentration. Simine obtained a PhD in social/personality psychology from University of Texas Austin. She is a full professor of psychology at UC Davis, and is the director of the Personality and Self-knowledge Lab.
