Dear Members of the Carleton Community,
On behalf of the Presidential Search Committee, we are pleased to provide you with an update on the status of the search for Carleton’s 12th President. Following a period of intense interviewing and background checking on a group of talented semi-finalists, the committee has narrowed the pool further. As a result, we have identified a small number of highly impressive candidates to continue in the final stages of the search to include additional due diligence and meetings.
This final phase of the search will allow us to know the finalists better and will give our finalists an opportunity to learn more about the strengths and benefits that Carleton offers a potential new president.
We are extremely pleased with the progress of the search and with the diversity and quality of our finalists. We appreciate your trust and confidence in the search committee and our consultants from Storbeck Search to bring forth the very best candidates who meet the ideal characteristics and competencies identified in the leadership profile.
We expect this final phase of the search to go very well and that we will be able to make a recommendation to the Carleton Board of Trustees later this Spring, with a public announcement to follow.
