Dear Students, Faculty, and Staff,

Many of you are likely aware of a list of demands that a group of Carleton students distributed at Convocation last Friday. The group refers to itself as Carls Talk Back.

To better understand the concerns of these students, we have invited a dialogue to hear from them directly. Student leaders of this group have been contacted to schedule a session this week. The meeting will also include the leadership of the Community, Equity, and Diversity Initiative (CEDI) and the Carleton Student Association (CSA).

Carleton is a community that honors thoughtful conversations about important issues. Expressing concerns is critical to creating and maintaining a healthy community, and there are important opportunities that can be created through dialogue to improve our College.

We look forward to this conversation with students about their concerns.
