The Cell Biology Research Scholars Program is a summer internship for undergraduate students with a passion for scientific discovery and fundamental biology. The CRSP is a full-time research immersion program. Each Scholar will receive a stipend of $4500 and is expected to participate in the full 10-week program for 40 hours/week.

The internship programs hosted by the Brigham Research Institute provides undergraduate students with a focused and challenging summer research experience in a cutting-edge science laboratory. Interns will have the opportunity to obtain a research training experience in a laboratory or research setting at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Applications Close: February 7, 2018.

The Summer Health Professions Education Program (SHPEP) is a free summer enrichment program focused on improving access to information and resources for college students interested in the health professions. SHPEP’s goal is to strengthen the academic proficiency and career development of students underrepresented in the health professions and to prepare them for a successful application and matriculation to health professions schools.

Graduating seniors are invited to apply for employment opportunities with the Emotion and Development Branch at the National Institute of Mental Health in Bethesda, MD.  The Branch seeks qualified individuals to fill Research Assistant positions, with employment starting May/June 2018.  The branch conducts research on the pathophysiology, treatment, and prevention of pediatric mood and anxiety disorders.  Research assistants are involved in all aspects of the clinical research process, including analyzing data and interacting with patients.

We are happy to announce the Innovative Minds Partnering to Advance Curative Therapies (IMPACT) Program for the 2017-2018 academic year. The Mayo Clinic IMPACT program gives Minnesota undergraduate students the opportunity to engage in novel hypothesis generation to address real-world health questions alongside Mayo scientists and physicians. We would like to invite you and your students to be part of this outstanding research opportunity!

All participants will present a poster at the Mayo Clinic 2018 IMPACT Symposium. In addition to the poster, top teams will give oral presentations. There will be networking opportunities with physicians, scientists, and students at Mayo Clinic. Winning teams will be awarded a cash prize.

The 2018 ADEA GoDental Recruitment Event offers individuals interested in dentistry the chance to meet admissions officers from 50 U.S. dental schools and attend interactive presentations to help them be successful applicants. This dynamic event is geared toward high school, community college and four-year college students, as well as others interested in dentistry.

GHC fellows serve in yearlong paid positions, filling critical gaps at high-impact NGOs and government agencies in Malawi, Rwanda, Uganda, the US, and Zambia. They work on a range of issues across the global health ecosystem, from reproductive health and nutrition to malaria and violence prevention.
