In the summer of 2022, the Weill Cornell Medical College will mount the 54th season of the Travelers Summer Research Fellowship (T-SRF). TSRF is a seven-week research program for rising junior or senior premedical students from diverse backgrounds who are committed to working with underserved populations. The program is outlined in more detail in the attached brochure, including the application process. The program provides an opportunity for the student to execute a research project under the supervision/mentorship of a seasoned WCM faculty member. Additionally, the program offers participants the opportunity to become acquainted with clinical and public health topics in medicine, particularly those that impact underserved and minority populations.
This competitive program can only accommodate 29-30 students per year and thus selected participants are considered well suited for a career in medicine. Additional information about the program and step-by-step application instructions can also be found on the program website.
