Job Opportunity at Bloch Lab at Mass General in Boston

28 January 2020

The Bloch Lab at Mass General Hospital investigates the role fo the bone morphogenetic protein signal transduction pathway in a broad spectrum of human diseases.

The projects aim to study the viral etiologies of autoimmune diseases by way of studying processing bodies, cytoplasmic complexes that are important to degrading viral mRNA as a first line of defense against viral gene expression.

This is an ideal gap year opportunity for premeds as it provides exposure to both the research side of medicine while also providing ample opportunities for clinical shadowing.
