Renew ENT and Hearing Center (Edina, MN) is seeking collaborative Clinical Assistants to join our team! In this role, you will play a vital part in providing quality patient care and ensuring a smooth, welcoming healthcare experience. Responsibilities:
- Conducting patient HPI intake interviews
- Applying topical numbing as needed for nasal endoscopy and laryngoscopy
- Debriefing providers on patients’ HPI
- Scribing providers’ encounters including physical examination findings, review of imaging and audiogram/tympanograms, creating impressions and plans, applying diagnosis and procedure codes, and billing
- Ordering prescriptions and additional testing as allocated
- Providing patient education as requested
- Assist in in-office procedures
- Assist in set-up and review of CT scan of sinuses
- Maintain flow of clinic and communication between providers and clinic team
- Prepare, clean, and stock exam rooms

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (related to medical field or equivalent preferred)
- Patient care experience
- Excellent customer service, verbal, and written skills
- Ability to exercise good judgement and problem-solving skills
- Medical terminology
- 50+ wpm typing skills
- Daytime availability between 7:15am and 4:30pm every weekday
- Completion of pre-professional testing (MCAT, GRE, etc.) prior to start preferred
