The Yi Lab is currently seeking a motivated Research Assistant who has recently graduated with a degree in Biology, Data Science, or related fields. Our research investigates molecular and cellular mechanisms of epidermal and hair follicle stem cells throughout development, homeostasis, regeneration, aging, and in pathological states such as wound repair and hair loss. Target hiring range for this position will be between $19.31-$22.00 per hour.

This is an entry-level position for a laboratory researcher to join the Weingarden lab at the University of Minnesota. The individual in this position will assist with specific procedures, such as tissue processing and staining for flow cytometry, in vitro mammalian cell culture, and aerobic and anaerobic bacterial culture. They will also help with animal experiments (mice) and manage the mouse colony, along with recruitment of patients for clinical studies.

If you are about to graduate and want to get some research experience before applying to grad or med school the Hemmers Lab at Duke University is looking for highly motivated individuals that can commit to at least two years of research contribution. You will learn how to work with mice, isolate cells from various tissues, perform cellular analysis by flow cytometry, and immunofluorescent imaging. You also have the opportunity to audit graduate student level immunology classes and try your hand in some computational data analysis. The laboratory of Mark Hatley seeks a Research Technologist to assist the principal investigator with the collection and analysis for research projects in an entry-level capacity. The individual with conduct specific projects with guidance and maintain efficient laboratory operations. The individual will perform duties in order to meet the goals and objectives of the laboratory. Experience in molecular biology, cell culture, and animal models preferred.

The Escolano Lab investigates the use of sequential immunization as a novel vaccination strategy aiming to induce broadly neutralizing antibodies against highly diverse viruses. Using HIV-1 as a model virus, state-of-the-art technologies, and animal models including wild-type mice, transgenic mice, and rhesus macaques, the laboratory studies the humoral and cellular immune responses to sequential immunization. The goal of this research is to identify guidelines for the design of vaccination approaches to induce long-lasting protection against highly mutating viruses in humans.

The Miller Lab ( https://www.miller.biochem.utah.edu/ ) in the Department of Biochemistry is looking for a Research Technician to join our team. We are an interdisciplinary molecular biology lab that uses yeast as a model system to study how cells ensure the correct distribution of chromosomes to daughter cells when they ultimately divide.

We are seeking someone to perform bench-level experiments, provide technical research assistance, and assist in general lab organization. The anticipated duration for this position is a minimum of two years.
