Mittal Dermatology is a growing dermatology practice serving patients throughout the western suburbs of Minneapolis. Their clinical team currently includes two physicians, two nurse practitioners, and one physician assistant, and we continue to expand. They are seeking a high-performing pre-med or pre-PA gap year student to join our team as a Dermatology Medical Assistant. This role provides meaningful hands-on clinical experience and exposure to both medical and procedural dermatology prior to graduate training. Medical assistants work closely with providers and play an active role in patient care and clinical workflow.

Massachusetts General Hospital is looking to hire a Clinical Research Coordinator for the Orthopaedic Hand and Upper Extremity Department, as well as the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Department (one position). Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine is looking for (Monday-Friday) research study coordinators. Research experience is not required. The position could be full time (40 hours per week) for candidates graduating in December. We are also interested in interviewing candidates who may be available part time prior to June graduation (who could then transition to full-time work). The position involves completing a variety of clinical research tasks including data collection, data entry, and study recruitment. Research coordinators will work at Northwestern Memorial Hospital with study participants. Coordinators will gain valuable research experience, including taking blood pressures in the arms and legs and drawing blood (if interested in learning – blood draws are not required). We are looking for dedicated, hard-working, conscientious individuals who work well in a team and can work comfortably with older men and women who have ongoing medical problems. The Social Neuroscience Research Core at Marcus Autism Center, in conjunction with Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and Emory University School of Medicine, is offering two-year predoctoral research fellowships in six scientific subspecialties. Fellows will participate in innovative research to provide novel solutions to complex problems in a robust clinical environment. Our research fellowships are intended for college graduates to dedicate two intensive years to research in autism prior to entering graduate studies. Fellows will participate in and guide innovative research, working with children with autism and their families, ranging in age from week-old infants to adolescents and young adults.
