19 April 2024This is an entry-level position for a laboratory researcher to join the Weingarden lab at the University of Minnesota. The individual in this position will assist with specific procedures, such as tissue processing and staining for flow cytometry, in vitro mammalian cell culture, and aerobic and anaerobic bacterial culture. They will also help with animal experiments (mice) and manage the mouse colony, along with recruitment of patients for clinical studies.

If you are about to graduate and want to get some research experience before applying to grad or med school the Hemmers Lab at Duke University is looking for highly motivated individuals that can commit to at least two years of research contribution. You will learn how to work with mice, isolate cells from various tissues, perform cellular analysis by flow cytometry, and immunofluorescent imaging. You also have the opportunity to audit graduate student level immunology classes and try your hand in some computational data analysis. Paid Summer Research Position in the Duryea Lab at Harvard Medical School (position open until filled)
7 March 2024The Duryea lab is looking for an undergraduate pre-med student with an interest in research to fill a summer research assistant position in my laboratory. The job would be for approximately two months in the summer at 20-40 hours/week. Familiarity and general competence with the Windows operating system is a requirement. Since the research involves MRI and radiographic imaging of arthritic joints, this is an ideal position for students with an interest in Radiology or Rheumatology and a career in academic medicine. Research Technician Position in the Stavropoulos Lab at Rutgers Waksman Institute of Microbiology Outside link
14 February 2024The Stavropoulos laboratory at the Waksman Institute and Rutgers University is seeking a full-time research technician to perform research on the mechanisms that regulate sleep. Our studies use the fruit fly Drosophila to characterize genes and brain circuits underlying sleep-wake cycles.
Bachelor’s degree in science and prior laboratory experience are required. Emphasis in molecular biology, genetics, biochemistry, or neuroscience is helpful.
