University of Minnesota Pre-MSTP (MD/PhD) Mentorship Program (application deadline 12/20/24)
20 November 2024The mission of the University of Minnesota Pre-MSTP Mentorship Program is to provide individualized guidance for students interested in pursuing careers as physician-scientists. We strive to recruit and support individuals from diverse backgrounds of many forms. Our goal is to help students interested in pursuing the MD/PhD pathway by providing mentorship and advice regarding research opportunities, clinical interests, and MD/PhD applications. The program involves monthly one-on-one meetings with a mentor and monthly workshops. Apply here by 12/20/24.

Columbia University Summer Public Health Scholars Program for Undergraduates
4 November 2024The Summer Public Health Scholars Program (SPHSP) is designed for undergraduate students and its goal is to increase interest in and knowledge of public health and biomedical science careers. SPHSP is a partnership of the Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, College of Dental Medicine, School of Nursing, and the Mailman School of Public Health. Accepted students will be provided a stipend for their program participation. In addition, air/ground travel and housing costs are covered.

3 October 2024The Molecular Pharmacology and Therapeutics (MPaT) Graduate Program has conferred over 350 Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and 75 Master of Science (MS) degrees in Pharmacology, with most graduates applying their training to successful careers in academic, medical, industry, government, and regulatory agency settings. The MPaT Graduate Program currently offers MS and PhD degree programs and participates in joint degree (MD/PhD and JD/PhD) programs offered in partnership with the University of Minnesota Medical School and Law School.
