Five Carleton students–four seniors and one junior–presented research posters at the Midwest Political Science Association conference in Chicago. Julian Wyss presented a poster titled “Muslim Mobilization in Mali: An Examination of Religious Social Movements and Underdevelopment”; Molly Curtiss presented a poster titled “Making Islam the Solution: The Influence of Islam on HIV Prevention and Treatment Programs”; Charu Kulkarni presented a poster titled “Muhammad Iqbal’s National Vision for Pakistan: An Analysis of the Conceptual Boundaries between Indian and Muslim Nations”; Danielle Smogard presented a poster titled “The Evolution of International Criminal Justice: A Hybrid Solution is Born”; and Jeffrey Berg presented a poster titled “Politics: A Continuation of War by other Means.”
