Razia’s Ray of Hope Foundation is hosting a virtual event on for college students on International Women’s Day. The event will focus on women in Afghanistan, female empowerment, and girls’ education through the lens of this year’s International Women’s Day theme of “Challenge to Change.” It will take place at 4:00pm CT (5:00pm ET) on March 8, 2021.
Razia’s Ray of Hope Foundation is a non-profit based in Wellesley, MA founded by Razia Jan, a 2012 CNN Hero of the Year. The foundation runs the Zabuli Education Center and the Razia Jan Institute which provide free K-12 education and post-secondary vocational training to young women and girls in Kabul Province, Afghanistan.
