The Angie Craig for Congress campaign is seeking campaign fellows to work in Minnesota’s 2nd Congressional District to re-elect U.S. Representative Angie Craig and Democrats up and down the ticket. For those considering a career related to or in politics or government, this is a great place to start!
Fellows will learn the ins and outs of campaigns and will build the unique skill sets needed to grow a successful grassroots organization. Fellows will assist the campaign team in implementing all aspects of the campaign strategy and gain valuable skills and experience in the political field. They will have the opportunity to learn about political issues in Minnesota, expand their network to a staff of seasoned political operatives, and experience firsthand the ins and outs of a congressional campaign.
The campaign will work with eligible students to attain college credit for this position. This role is unpaid.
Responsibilities include:
- Recruiting, training, and managing volunteers to expand the volunteer networks
- Managing and executing events such as phone banks and campaign events
- Working as part of a team to advance the campaign’s goals
- Assist in running the campaign’s day-to-day operations.
- Other duties as assigned
