AHS Guest Speaker: Brian Klaas '08

The Alexander Hamilton Society at Carleton is excited to host Carleton alum, writer, and political scientist, Brian Klaas '08 for a speaker event on Thursday, January 29th! His lecture will begin at 5pm, and be followed by a Q&A moderated by Professor Alfred Montero. Food will be provided!!

Mr. Klaas will discuss his book Corruptible: Who Gets Power and How It Changes Us, which he wrote after more than 500 interviews with world leaders, rebels, and dictators. He will also discuss topics such as the global rise in authoritarianism, multipolarity, and the changing American role in global politics. Read more about Mr. Klaas at his bio here.
