Grad/REU Application and Recommender Checklist
Many of you will be asking members of the department to write letters of reference in support of various types of applications that you may be filling out. Before we write letters of reference for you, we would like you to fill out an informational questionnaire and give it to each faculty member who is going to write references for you. In addition, you should fill out the application checklist spreadsheet with all of your application deadlines. That spreadsheet should be sent both to your faculty recommenders and the department administrative assistant by e-mail.
Please give us at least two weeks to write the letters, both as a courtesy to your professors, and because the quality of the letter may suffer if we have less time. For applications that require a paper form or letter, you should include a stamped, addressed envelope.
Student Travel Funding Request
Use this form to request funds from the department to travel to a conference or other off-campus academic event.
