You are all invited to a special career event on Wednesday, January 20th at 6:30 p.m. in the Athenaeum of the Gould Library. This should be of particular interest to students in STEM fields who have studied or might consider studying German. As you are certainly aware, Germany is a prime destination for graduates seeking advanced study or employment in STEM fields.
The Honorary Consul of the Federal Republic of Germany, Christa Tiefenbacher-Hudson, will be visiting Carleton to discuss career opportunities with the German language and in Germany. Two Carleton alumni, one of them a Physics major and currently an engineer at MTS Systems, will also speak about how German has helped them in their careers.
