Below is information about upcoming career workshops that may be of interest to Physics and other STEM students. Employers find that students are increasingly resistant to networking and professional relationship building at a time when recruiters and the job market demand this skill more than ever.
We have separated our networking sessions into 2 separate workshops designed to get at the core of relationship building and really help make it attainable for students who are uncomfortable with the idea of talking to professionals. We even have 3 alumni scheduled to speak in-person at the first networking session. The Considering Grad School workshop might be particularly good for young STEM students who hear a lot about PhDs and med school, but tend to have very little understanding of all the options and what they can actually achieve with a higher degree.

These workshops are built to answer some of the more fundamental career questions that many students have and will be built around allowing them time to practice using career skills in the workshop, rather than being strictly lecture-style.
