We’d like to share new degree programs in environmental science and data science, and updates on UChicago’s graduate offerings in molecular engineering. Students can find more information about the admissions process, our outstanding PhD funding packages, professional opportunities, and more on each program’s website.
Physical Sciences Division (PSD) – Two new programs – a master’s and PhD from the Committee on Data Science – will welcome their inaugural cohorts this month. We will also be accepting applications this year for a new MS in Environmental Science, housed in the Department of the Geophysical Sciences. The program will feature a data science core, capstone project, and opportunities to specialize in areas including climate science, ecology, and environmental policy.
Pritzker School of Molecular Engineering (PME) – The Pritzker School of Molecular Engineering offers the Master of Engineering (MEng) degree, in addition to doctoral programs in Molecular Engineering and Quantum Science and Engineering (QSE). The Chicago Quantum Exchange (CQE) is based at UChicago, and brings together researchers from Argonne National Lab, Fermilab, leading universities, and corporate and nonprofit partners in this exciting field. The Graduate Admissions office supports prospective students interested in master’s, doctoral, and professional programs across UChicago’s graduate schools and divisions. Our website includes a searchable program list to assist students in identifying their best fit, as well as links to the separate application systems for each of the academic units. We look forward to working with your students if graduate study is part of their future plans.
Sincerely,
