Each summer, SSPI runs programs at college campuses across the country that provide advanced high school students a chance to complete an authentic research project. We’re currently looking for TA-RMs to staff these programs. At each program, we hire four TA-RMs to live on campus for six weeks, where they help students with assignments, lead social events, and act as scientific mentors and residential assistants.
This role is designed to support a student for a full summer, and SSPI covers the costs of food, travel, and lodging for the six-week duration.
We’re currently seeking TA-RMs for each of our projects: astrophysics, biochemistry, bacterial genomics, and cell biology. We do not expect applicants to have knowledge of all parts of the project, and we encourage them to think of it as an opportunity to grow their technical and academic skills.
Our application page has more details about the role. Please contact Katie Dunn if you have any questions.
