Founded in 1984, Dahlen, Berg & Co. provides energy supply management services to our clients. Our services include consulting, energy trading, power plant development, and operations. Our clients include consumer-owned utilities, colleges and universities and large energy users. We help our clients manage their energy risks and control their energy costs.
We are seeking an outstanding individual to be a part of our 2006 summer internship program. We welcome talented people from a variety of backgrounds to apply. Work Description
Our 2006 summer intern will provide support for all business units of Dahlen, Berg & Co., including Consulting, Development, Energy Trading, and Management Services. The successful candidate will work as a member of several teams, and will directly interact with colleagues to plan and implement projects and execute assigned projects and tasks, all under the guidance of more senior professionals. Our 2006 summer intern will gain
broad work experience on diverse and challenging projects in a professional environment.
What we look for
- Junior status, working towards a bachelor’s degree with courses that focus on quantitative analysis (economics, mathematics, etc.)
- A minimum GPA of 3.50
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Interest in learning about the energy industry
- Analytical problem-solver and quick learner
- Ability to work independently while being a team player
- Appreciation of a diversity of cultures and ideas
- Ability to work full-time for the summer 2006, minimum of twelve (12) weeks
