The College of Optical Sciences will host the 4th Optics and Photonics Winter School and Workshop January 4-7, 2019, on the campus of the University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ. The Optics and Photonics Winter School runs Jan. 4-5, and will introduce undergrads to foundational areas of optical science and their role in optics and photonics research, in hopes of encouraging them to pursue a career in the field. The Optics and Photonics Workshop runs Jan. 6-7, and targets faculty from primarily undergraduate institutions (PUIs) as well as students from the Winter School.
