The National High Field Magnetic Laboratory, NHMFL, Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) Summer Internship Program matches qualified undergraduate students with scientists and researchers at three sites of the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory in an 8-week research mentorship. The research experience offers unprecedented opportunities to explore science at the extremes of magnetic field, pressure, and temperature. The research experience offers many opportunities to explore contemporary science and engineering issues, and to work alongside some of the finest scientists, magnet designers and engineers in the world.Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) Program
The NHMFL offers a wide range of science, math, engineering, and interdisciplinary experiences in physics, chemistry, biological sciences, geochemistry, materials science, and magnet science and engineering. Summer interns, working closely with their NHMFL faculty mentors, are thoroughly integrated into these research and development activities.
