Earth Energy Dynamics
Earth is a dynamic planet, subject to many internal and external forces. Earth’s primary exogenic source of energy is the Sun, which bombards it with high-frequency radiation. Earth’s core produces heat, which is its primary endogenic source of energy. These energy sources combine to drive Earth’s major processes, including weather, photosynthesis, and earthquakes. This talk examines many of these energy sources and the interacting processes that result.
