The applications for the KU Department of Physics & Astronomy’s REU program is now open (applications received by 02/15/26 will receive full consideration).
The REU offers a 10-week research program, a one-week computational bootcamp, housing (private bedroom+bathroom in 4-room suites), meals, a $7,000 stipend, and the ability to participate (costs reimbursed) in a national conference.
