Hybrids!!!
Abstract: Hybrids!!! Automobile hybrids use the pre-existing gasoline infrastructure, but offer much higher efficiency than a car powered solely by gasoline and offer much greater range and acceleration than an electric vehicle. To understand how this is possible, I will examine gasoline-engine powered cars and electric cars individually, then see how the two are combined. I will also briefly look at political and economic factors that gave rise to automobile hybrids.
