This program is open to students pursuing either a Master’s or Ph.D. degree.
The Catalyzed Transition to Chemical Engineering program provides an accelerated pathway to engineering, allowing the students to build on their STEM undergraduate education while reducing the time to graduation with an engineering degree compared to non-accelerated programs. It consists of one graduate level class which the students complete before commencing on the remaining coursework, i.e. the core ChemE graduate curriculum and technical electives. Thus, students only have to take one graduate level class rather than four undergrad classes as is required in most other programs. For a full program description, please see our webpage.
