11 September 2023

Wake Forest University Graduate program updates:

  1. We are emphasizing quantum information sciences (QIS) via quantum materials, quantum computing, and quantum optics, and we are in the process of having a formal master’s degree and PhD certificate program approved in QIS.
  2. Our PhD stipend has increased to $29,000 along with health insurance and a 100% waiver of tuition and mandatory fees. Quite considerable given our below-average cost of living. MS students receive a 74% tuition waiver.
  3. We no longer require the GRE.

The deadline to apply for fall 2024 is January 8, 2023. Visit the applications for Fall 2024 or discover more application details.
