With a Master of Engineering, graduates gain valuable professional expertise, expand their career options, and significantly improve their earning potential. Our masters program gives students the opportunity to:
- Advance ideas and solve problems at the nation’s first molecular engineering school
- Learn from PME faculty innovators holding more than 280 patents
- Experience small class sizes and personal, one-on-one mentorship
- Connect with industrial partners and employers in the Greater Chicago area
- Network with alumni in leadership positions at top-tier organizations
- Graduate in as few as three quarters (10 months) or stretch the degree over four quarters to accommodate a summer internship
MEng students choose from three focus tracks: Bio- and Immunoengineering, Materials for Sustainability and Health, and Computational Modeling of Materials. Each track blends innovation leadership with technical application and experiential learning in its curriculum.
