M.S. Engineering Mechanics: Fundamentals of Applied Mechanics

Program specifics:
Timeframe: 1 year (summer, fall and spring semesters)
Delivery: Coursework-only, face-to-face (first summer is online)
Credit hours required: 30
Degree conferred: Master of Science Engineering Mechanics

Curriculum: Mechanics of Materials, Dynamics, Finite Elements, Mechanical Testing of Materials, Analytical and Computational Methods, Composites, Satellite Dynamics; Continuum, Fracture and Experimental Mechanics, and others.

Required prerequisites include:
Two semesters of Calculus and Analytical Geometry such as: Math221 and Math222
Applied mathematical analysis such as: Math321
Some exposure to matrix algebra such as: Math320 or Math340
