Plans are in place for the 139th Commencement in the proud history of Carleton College. Commencement festivities will begin on Friday, June 14, with a variety of receptions and celebratory events. Details about the weekend can be found online.
The Commencement ceremony will take place Saturday morning, June 15, at 9:30 a.m. on the lawn west of Hulings Hall with seating to accommodate all guests. The academic procession will assemble on the sidewalk alongside of Laird Hall at 9 a.m. and will begin marching in pairs toward Music Hall at 9:20 a.m. Diagrams for processional and recessional routes for faculty can be found here. Complimentary box lunches will be provided following the ceremony.
In case of bad weather, the ceremony will be held in the Recreation Center.
