Radiations Newsletter

If you’d like to make your voice heard in the department, volunteer for the DCC!  The Departmental Curriculum Committee meets once a term over lunch we provide.  You’ll talk about courses, the major, department issues, etc.  We need reps from each class year.  Email Trenne or Jay if you’re interested–tfields@ or jtasson@.

Misel family lecture (Wednesday Oct. 3): WiPs will be organizing a field trip to a lecture by astrophysicist Nergis Mavalvala, a key contributor to the development of LIGO’s gravitational wave detectors.  All are welcome!  Look here or email greenfields@carleton.edu for more info.
