FREE BOOKS!

We have to pack up the department this term for our upcoming move! The conference room has shelves full of physics and astronomy books. We don’t have room for them all in our new space! Please stop by the 2nd floor, room 202 to look them over. If you’d like a book or two or ten, help yourself!

Sunday brunch with Chris Payne
Volume 25, Issue 21Our Physics 123 speaker, Dr. Christopher Payne ’91 of the Lawrence Berkeley Lab, is available for brunch Sunday at 10 am at Bagel Bros. (Individual appointments are also available after brunch until he leaves for the airport a few hours later.
If you’re interested in brunch, sign up with Joel by Friday night (jweisber@carleton.edu). There are a limited number of spots, so you need to be one of the first 8 people to respond!
