APS Bridge Program application cycle open through March 20
Just a quick reminder that the APS Bridge Program will accept applications until March 20, 2026, at 4 p.m. ET. Please encourage your students who may be strong candidates to consider applying.
The program creates pathways to physics graduate programs for all students, including those from historically marginalized backgrounds, to ensure everyone has the opportunity to pursue advanced physics education.
Access 2026 Application
Please encourage students who might be good candidates to apply. For example, students who: applied to your graduate program, but for whom your institution was unable to make an offer of acceptance, or
are unlikely to apply or be accepted into a physics graduate program, but with some additional support and experience, could be successful in pursuing a doctoral degree
The Bridge Program is a network of graduate programs that offers students research experience, advanced coursework, and coaching to support their success in pursuing a Ph.D. The program provides mentoring to help students complete Ph.D. programs, build and strengthen professional networks, and explore new career paths.
Please share this flyer on your social media, in your department offices, or with someone who would be interested.
