We are Ukrainian students at Carleton who are collaborating with CSA to organize fundraising events for military and humanitarian aid to Ukraine. It’s been more than a month since the war started, and Ukrainians are still fighting and are counting on us for help. They want to live in a democracy, like us. However, the support from Western leaders cannot cover all the basic needs of people whose homes are being destroyed and who are fighting for their lives.
We want to direct money to the United Help Ukraine organization, which provides Ukraine with care packages for soldiers and medical supplies. We both know people in this organization personally, and we can confirm that they are reliable and efficient.
We were hoping you could aid the Ukrainian efforts by donating and distributing this email to professors and students in your department. Anyone who would like to donate can do it directly through the United Help Ukraine website or Venmo us @carletoncollegecsa, from which we will send 100% of profits to the cause.
