The Kolenkow-Reitz fellowship provides research support for Carleton students working with non-Carleton science and math faculty at another institution during the summer or over winter break. These research opportunities are intended to encourage Carleton students’ development as scientists and their exploration of mathematics, statistics, and the sciences as a possible career.

“Laboratory for Nano Optics and Mechanics at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, is looking for prospective PhD and Masters students for Fall 2020, with background in physics and applied physics. We are a newly formed research group, working at the interface of nanotechnology and optical physics to develop new applications in energy, sensing, and opto-mechanics.
