IDSC 209 Writing Science in winter term
Interested in becoming a better science communicator, Wondering how writing practices differ from discipline to discipline? Eager to describe your scientific discoveries with effectiveness and style? Then the course Writing Science is for you. The class will explore how science is written for a variety of audiences – from scientific journals to the popular press.
IDSC 209 Writing Science is a sophomore priority course taught by Carol Rutz, Director of the Writing Program and Cindy Blaha. The course is offered in alternate years. This year it will be held winter term, 5th period in Olin 02.
