• The Mentor Externship Program

  • Engineering at Washington University

    All students  interested in engineering are invited to meet with Jaydee Amoloza, Assistant Dean of Undergraduate Engineering Admissions at Washington University in St. Louis, to discuss engineering at Washington University and Carleton’s 3-2 program with Washington U.  Contact Nelson if you would like more information.

  • Kolenkow Reitz Fund for Undergraduate Research

    Carleton’s Kolenkow Reitz Fund supports students doing research at Carleton and other institutions during winter and summer breaks.  Up to ten students in the natural sciences and mathematics will be supported winter break 2010, with each student receiving funds not to exceed $1500.  More information and an online application can be found at http://serc.carleton.edu/cismi/KolenkowReitz.html.  The applications for winter break support are due October 15, 2010.

  • Senior Meeting

    All senior physics majors should plan to attend this important meeting to discuss your senior year and preparing for life after Carleton.  Any juniors thinking of doing comps this year should also plan to attend.

  • Student Worker Meeting

    All student workers in the Physics & Astronomy  Department should plan to attend this MANDATORY meeting.  Ombudsperson Joanne Mullen and Kathy Evertz from the Academic Support Center will be talking with student workers.
